The garfish, also known as garpike or sea needle, is a tasty fish that stands out for the striking shape it presents when fresh: elongated and pointed. It has an intense and delicious taste and it is traditionally eaten in the coastal areas of Galicia and Cantabria.

It is captured and prepared fresh in order to preserve its flavour and texture. Each fish is carefully dressed (gutted after removing the head and tail), grilled and packed by hand.
